I haven’t seen the movie yet. I’ll probably see it Thursday (you’ll have my review shortly thereafter). But I’m absolutely positive that Transformers will be freakin’ awesome. No matter what you may read in stuff like this review, Dim ‘Transformers’ thuds with action.
Why won’t it suck? Let me explain it to you thusly:
Michael Bay makes pretty sweet action movies, Steven Spielberg is Steven Fucking Spielberg, and it has goddamn Transformers in it.
Maybe that’ll only speak to a certain demographic, but it doesn’t bother me. I’m the exact demographic that Transformers is aimed at, and I have no reason to believe that I’ll be disappointed. That, and my friend said it’s good so I believe him.
As I said, I’ll write a review after I see the movie. I’ll also be posting a review of Live Free or Die Hard sometime later.
